Dear friends,
On Saturday, December 5, our courtyard turns into Dickensian London again. After the 4 PM Vigil Mass, join us outside from 5 to 6 for market stalls, roasted chestnuts, carolers, warm drinks, and the lighting of our 25-foot tree. Come in your Victorian best if you like, or come as you are, but please dress warmly since we’ll be outdoors. The courtyard festivities are free and everyone is welcome, so bring your family, your neighbors, and that friend who hasn’t been to St. Anthony in a while. At 6, the parish hall opens for dinner guests.
Last year’s dinner in Mr. Fezziwig’s Parlour sold out in a week, so here is how to get your seats this year.
How to get your dinner tickets:- Get a Ticket Request Form. It’s attached to this email, or you can pick one up at the ticket table after any Mass this weekend, October 24–25.
- Fill it in at home. Write the full name and entrée (Lamb Shank or Fish) for every guest, and who you’d like to sit with.
- Bring the completed form with full payment to the ticket table after any Mass on October 31 or November 1. Cash, check, or credit card is fine.
Tickets are $50 per person, with up to four named guests per purchaser. Entrée choices are final, and only complete forms can be accepted. That rule is what lets our ticket team seat everyone well, so please help them out.
A small army of parishioners is already hard at work to make this evening happen: planning the dinner, preparing the market, getting
A Christmas Carol ready, printing tickets and place cards. They give their time freely, and the best thanks we can offer is to come and enjoy it together. Our dinner will be prepared by Ayawaska Hilltop here in Novato.
The full schedule is in the attached flyer. I can’t wait to celebrate with you.
With joy,
Fr. Felix
